Perishable Food Products

Due to the perishable nature of our cakes and food products, all sales are generally final. We do not accept standard returns or exchanges once products have been delivered.

This policy helps us maintain strict food safety and quality standards, as our products cannot be resold or reused after shipment.

We stand behind the quality of every Batter & Barrel cake.

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Defective

  • Incorrect

You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

To report an issue, please email:

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

Once reviewed, we may offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.


Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Perishable food products

  • Opened or partially consumed items

  • Products reported outside the 48-hour window

  • Custom or corporate bulk orders (unless damaged in transit)

  • Items sent back without prior written approval

We do not require food products to be shipped back to us.


Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be issued to your original payment method

  • Processing time is up to 10 business days

  • Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the refund

Shipping Address Responsibility
