Product Information Batter & Barrel offers artisanal rum-infused fruit cakes crafted in small batches. Product descriptions, images, packaging details, net weight, ingredients, and allergen information are provided for informational purposes and may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of our products. Ingredient and allergen information is disclosed on product packaging. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists prior to purchase.
Orders & Pricing All prices listed on this website are in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Batter & Barrel reserves the right to accept, refuse, or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders affected by availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraud. Order confirmation emails acknowledge receipt of your order but do not guarantee acceptance until the order has been processed and shipped.
Shipping & Delivery We ship to approved destinations within the United States. Estimated shipping timeframes are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Once an order is transferred to the carrier, delivery timing and handling are the responsibility of the carrier. Due to the perishable nature of our products, customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery when applicable.
Returns & Refunds Because our products are perishable food items, all sales are final. Refunds or replacements may be issued only in the event of: Products damaged during transit Defective or incorrect items received To request assistance, please contact hello@batterandbarrel.com within 48 hours of delivery, including your order number and photographic evidence of the issue. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Product Use & Storage Products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, refrigeration is recommended. Each package includes a Best By date for guidance. Product quality may be affected if storage instructions are not followed. Our cakes contain rum as part of the recipe. While the alcohol is incorporated during baking, trace amounts may remain. Products are intended for adult consumption and gifting discretion is advised.
Limitation of Liability Batter & Barrel is not responsible for adverse reactions resulting from food allergies or sensitivities. Customers assume responsibility for reviewing ingredient and allergen disclosures before consumption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Batter & Barrel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or consumption of our products.
Governing Law These Terms of Service and any disputes arising under them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles. 8.
